Nova Poshta automation for an online shop

Waybills are created from the order data, and the customer learns the parcel arrived without a call from a manager. Two separate scenarios you switch on independently.

What you can automate

  • Creating a waybill as soon as the order is confirmed.
  • Telling the customer when the parcel reaches the branch.
  • A reminder when a parcel sits uncollected for days.
  • Writing the waybill number back into the CRM.

How to connect it

  1. Get an API key

Nova Poshta issues it in the account of your sender profile.

  2. Enter it in Oxta

Once, encrypted, never shown in run history.

  3. Dry-run it on a real order

The dry run shows exactly which waybill would be created — without creating it.

Why the history matters

Delivery is where a mistake becomes a phone call from a customer. The history shows what was sent to create the waybill and what came back: wrong city, missing branch, invalid phone number.

If Nova Poshta changes its response format, Oxta spots the missing field and warns you rather than quietly messaging customers without a tracking number.

The essentials, briefly

Can waybills be created for some orders only?

Yes. The scenario has a condition step — paid orders only, or a particular warehouse only.

How often are statuses checked?

On the schedule you choose, usually every few hours. Each check is one run.

What if the customer picked the wrong branch?

The carrier returns an error, the scenario stops and notifies a manager. The order does not vanish quietly.
